Lions and Tigers and H.O.G.s – Oh, my!
The South Dakota State H.O.G. Rally comes roaring back in 2012!
Join us for a wild weekend in Sioux Falls as we go on a Chrome Safari with the help of the Great Plains Zoo. Special access, special activities, and some one-of-a-kind opportunities to talk to the animals cap a Rally that will keep you as busy as you want to be!
Local guided rides and a special look at the beautiful downtown and Falls Park areas of Sioux Falls are just the beginning of the South Dakota safari we have waiting for you. We’ll be special guests at a Friday night Bike Night celebration at the legendary J&L Harley-Davidson. Saturday brings more ways to explore some surprising riding in the Sioux Falls area, then an escorted parade to the Zoo, where we’ll party on the Savannah with dinner, games, giveaways, and our closing ceremonies!
Finally, on Sunday a complimentary after-the-Rally pancake breakfast will be yours for the eating at J&L Harley-Davidson to get you set for the ride home – or to join us on a special guided ride to rack up the miles for the Harley-Davidson World Ride!
The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History is one of South Dakota’s star attractions, and one of the world’s great community zoos, giving you an up close look at more than 1,000 animals—from anteaters to zebras. Not to be missed is the “Rare Rhinos of Africa” exhibit with their new baby rhino, Kiano. And the Zoo also features the Delbridge Museum of Natural History, which houses a rare, one-in-the-world collection of 150 mounted animals, including 36 "vanishing species." Your Rally registration will include complimentary admission to the Zoo and Museum all day Saturday, plus special access and events during our Party on the Savannah Saturday night. Who knows - you might even get up close and personal with a six-horned sheep!
